In the
interesting novel Fallout by Ellen Hopkins there are three main
characters. The three main characters are Hunter, Autumn, and Summer. They have
no idea about each other but they have one very important thing that is common
between them. That is their mother. Each of them has the same mother, whose
name is Kristina. Their lives are broken up one way or another. Kristina, their
mother, started taking crystal meth and it broke up all of their lives.
Hunter,
Autumn, and Summer have different problems. None of them want to follow their
mother footsteps but they follow in one way or another. At the end they all
plan on meeting each other. They know nothing about each other except that they
all have the same mother. They found out that they were siblings right before they
were about to meet each other. They all want happiness but when they see their
mother all they see is themselves.
Nice post Sadia. This book sounds really interesting and I soon will be reading this aswell. What do you mean when you say, "They all want happiness but when they see their mother all they see is themselves?"
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a really good book. I will definitely be reading it. What were the three problems that each of them had? Did they also have drug usage problems, or was it other problems...
ReplyDeleteWhen I said that " they all want happiness but when they see their mother they see themselves" it is sort of what they say at the end. I didn't want to give it away that's why I wrote that but I think you'll understand it better when you'll read the book. I hope that explains it Finn. :) Celia, if you want to read this book than I don't think it would be good to tell you their problems because that's the main part of the story. It would mostly ruin the whole book. Those problems and them getting through it is what actually creates the whole story in my point of view.
